The research project was designed to address the following research problems in cloud infrastructure monitoring. To understand the problems of monitoring in cloud infrastructure with currently available monitoring tools. To understand the limitation of currently available monitoring tools in cloud aspect. To understand the problems of performance and resource utilization in virtualization and cloud computing Algorithm to generate probabilistic prediction on monitoring state information (Ok Critical, Warning etc) for virtual and cloud infrastructure Algorithm to optimize monitoring information. Mathematical model to predict cloud resource utilization and forecast monitoring alert. Build alert language to predict alert from monitoring events.
