  • Résumé

    Depuis l'effondrement de l'URSS, l'informalité constitue, en Asie centrale post-soviétique, l'un des éléments centraux du développement socio-économique, à la fois des institutions étatiques et aussi non étatiques. En particulier, l'affaiblissement de la confiance que la population place dans les institutions étatiques est considéré comme l’une des principales causes de la montée de l’informalité dans la région. Cette recherche examinera, par conséquent, le concept de confiance et ses relations avec les institutions financières informelles en Asie centrale. En déployant une approche interdisciplinaire à la croisée de l'économie, de la sociologie et de l'anthropologie, mon travail tentera d'établir une corrélation entre une forte densité de structures financières informelles et le concept de confiance.

  • Résumé

    Since the collapse of the USSR, informality has been one of the central elements of socio-economic development in Post-Soviet Central Asia of both state and non-state institutions. In particular, the weakening of public trust in state institutions is considered one of the main causes of the rise of informality in the region. This research will therefore examine the concept of trust and its relationship with informal financial institutions in Central Asia. By deploying an interdisciplinary approach at the crossroads of economics, sociology and anthropology, my work will attempt to establish a correlation between a high density of informal financial structures and the concept of trust.
