  • Résumé

    Ce travail de recherche vise à rendre compte des enjeux de la traduction dans le champ littéraire maghrébin et plus précisément, l’écriture algérienne contemporaine (dans le domaine francophone et arabophone), en mettant l’accent sur la notion de traduction interne. Il s’inscrit ainsi dans une réflexion axée sur la poétique de la traduction (au sein d’une même et seule langue d’écriture ou d’expression). Il cherche à dégager (à travers Mohammed Dib et Assia Djebar) certains aspects constitutifs du texte algérien (métissage, transculturalité, multiplicité linguistique, transtextualité) qui relèvent d’une pratique fondamentalement traductive. Questionnant les faits et effets du déplacement de l’imaginaire, les passages culturels, les voix hétérogènes et les modalités du glissement de l’oralité dans l’espace scriptural (de Hmida Ayachi et Ismail Yebrir), ce travail invite également à considérer le rôle crucial du geste traductif dans la fabrication de la langue de l’écrivain, mais aussi dans l’élaboration du récit. C'est en ce sens qu'on tente de cerner les spécificités d'une écriture qui se tisse entre les langues et qui se donne à lire comme une traversée des signes, des visions et des symboles mise en scène par un procès translatoire. On se trouve alors face à une double posture de l'écrivain-traducteur qui nécessite un repositionnement de la lecture à l'intérieur du champ de la littérature mais aussi celui de la traductologie.

    This research work aims to provide an insight into the challenges of translation in the Maghrebian literary field, and more specifically, contemporary Algerian writing (in the French and Arabic-speaking spheres), by placing the emphasis on the notion of inner translation. It falls thus within a reflection centered on the poetics of translation (within one and the same language of writing or expression). It seeks to bring out (through Mohammed Dib and Assia Djebar) certain constitutive aspects of the Algerian text (crossbreeding, transculturality, linguistic multiplicity, transtextuality) that are fundamentally relevant to a translation practice. By investigating the facts and effects of the shifts of the imaginary, cultural passages, heterogeneous voices and the modalities of the transposition of orality to the scriptural space (of Hmida Ayachi and Ismail Yebrir), this study calls also to consider the crucial role of the translatory act in the production of the writer's language, but also in the elaboration of the narrative. It is in this sense that we attempt to identify the specificities of a writing that is woven between languages and that offers itself as a crossing of signs, visions and symbols staged by a translation process. We then come face to face with a double posture of the writer-translator which implies a re-positioning of reading within the field of literature as well as that of translation studies.
