Résumé

In our investigation, we deal with various combinatorial objects. Some of them are irreducible, others are built from irreducible ones, either using combinatorial constructions within the symbolic method or with the help of composition within the theory of species. We are interested in the probability that a random combinatorial object is irreducible, as its size tends to infinity. In this thesis, we obtain the full asymptotic expansion of the target probability using general tools that apply across the wide variety of the considered combinatorial objects, both in terms of the symbolic method and the theory of species. We show that this expansion has a certain structure, which allows us to ensure that asymptotic coefficients have a combinatorial meaning. Moreover, we provide a way to get the asymptotic probability that a random combinatorial object has a given number of irreducible components and indicate the combinatorial meaning of the coefficients involved in the asymptotic expansions. Finally, we apply the developed method to some particular combinatorial classes and draw connections between them. Thus, we establish the asymptotic expansions for the probabilities that a random graph is connected, a random tournament is irreducible, a random permutation is indecomposable and a random square-tiled surface is connected. These results are immediately generalized to multigraphs, multitournaments, multipermutations, constellations and several other models of surfaces. We also study by a different but closely related approach the probability that a random directed graph is strongly connected and the Erdös-Rényi model of random graphs.
