Characterization and use of ultra high performance fiber reinforced concrete for structural applications
Caractérisation et utilisation des bétons fibrés à ultra-hautes performances pour des applications structurelles
Résumé
The works presented in this thesis deals with several aspects of the research carried out by the author about ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC). The following subjects are detailed : -the characterization of the tensile behaviour of UHPFRC; -the determination of the bond between UHPFRC and steel rebars ; -the behaviour of reinforced UHPFRC columns or ordinary reinforced concrete columns
strengthened with a UHPFRC jacket ; -the prevision of the cracking of structures made of UHPFRC with steel rebars. These works have been carried out in the frame of the revision of the AFGC recommendations on UHPFRC (2013) and in the frame of the joint research project Badifops
(2011-2015). They have been used to elaborate the new French standards about UHPFRC specification and structural design (NF P18-470 and NF P18-710). This thesis details the experiments, their interpretation and the perspectives and proposes some suggestions for further investigations.
Les travaux présentés dans cette these portent sur plusieurs aspects des recherches réalisées par l'auteur sur les bétons fibrés à ultra-hautes performances (BFUP). Sont ainsi détaillés les travaux sur : - la caractérisation du comportement en traction des BFUP; -la détermination de l'adhérence du BFUP avec des armatures passives ; -l'étude du comportement sous sollicitations sismiques de poteaux en BFUP armé ou de poteaux en béton armé renforcés par un chemisage en BFUP; -la prévision de la fissuration de structures en BFUP armé. Ces travaux réalisés dans le cadre de la révision des recommandations AFGC sur les BFUP de 2013 et dans le cadre du projet de recherche partenariale Badifops entre 2011
et 2015 ont servi à l'élaboration des normes françaises NF P18-470 et NF P18-710 sur la spécification et le calcul des ouvrages en BFUP.
Le mémoire détaille ces expérimentations, leur interprétation et les perspectives d'investigations complémentaires.
