L’étude que nous proposons se décline en trois parties : dans la première, nous proposons une étude des théories du langage parlé ; la seconde est liée à une réflexion sur les éléments qui permettent à Céline de se focaliser sur l’émotion. La dernière partie, elle, nous permettra de voir quelques thématiques suscitant les émotions, ainsi que de réaliser l’étude de deux traductions. Les premiers travaux théoriques ayant pour objet le langage parlé apparaissent dans les années 30 avec les travaux du linguiste suisse Bally. Sa théorie du parlé repose sur le caractère spontané et expressif de la langue de tous les jours. Certains travaux de Sechehaye s’inscrivent dans la même mouvance. Celui-ci accorde un intérêt particulier à l’expressivité du langage parlé et propose une théorie du prégrammatical. C’est à Frei qu’on doit l’élaboration d’une théorie de la faute qui rétablit la nécessité d’une linguistique fonctionnelle. [. . . ]
The thesis we carry out includes three parts: in the first one, we overview some theories of spoken language; in the second one, the analysis is related to some features of Céline’s style allowing him to focus on linguistic components of emotionality; in the last one, we will analyze some themes raising emotions as well as compare Russian and English translations. The first theoretical studies specifically focused on spoken language started to appear in the 1930s, and the work of the Swiss linguist Bally are paramount in making a new trend in the evolution of linguistics. His theory of spoken language is based on the spontaneous and expressive features of everyday language. Some works by Sechehaye can be seen as part of the same area of research – he paid particular attention to the expressiveness of speech and authored the theory of “pre-grammatical” language.
