Résumé

Après l'immobilisme forcé d'avant 1989, de nombreux Roumains pratiquent une mobilité transnationale active, en assurant un rôle complexe de médiateurs entre deux ou plusieurs univers culturels. Nous nous intéressons aux transformations de l'imaginaire identitaire national et aux pratiques linguistiques et culturelles qui fondent la construction identitaire des Roumains en situation de mobilité, que nous analysons à partir d'une enquête menée en autocar en situation d'observation participante entre la Roumanie et la France (seize trajets entre avril 2005 et avril 2008)

Résumé

After a period of imposed immobility before 1989, many Romanians are now engaged in active transnational mobility, taking on the complex role of mediators between two or more cultures. We focus here on the transformations of the reprensentation of national identity and on the linguistic and cultural practices which are at the basis of the construction of the identity of the Romanians experiencing mobility. Our analysis is based on series of participant observation carried out in the international coaches travelling between Romania and France (16 journeys between April 2005 and 2008)
