Résumé

Les guerres présentent une chaîne causale qui, tout à la fois, pose la question de l’ethnicité et de la formation de l’Etat-nation. Les conflits que connaît la Corne de l’Afrique aujourd'hui s'inscrivent dans ce registre des guerres identitaires aux confrontations internationales et transnationales. En effet, étudier le phénomène des guerres africaines contemporaines, exige une analyse historique, sociologique et politique fondée sur une approche multidisciplinaire de la polémologie et une culture géopolitique qui conduisent, à la fois, à l’examen exploratoire de l’Afrique précoloniale, coloniale et postcoloniale. Il s’agit de construire une réflexion approfondie des conflits armés dans le système international contemporain, en insistant sur plusieurs unités d’analyse et, surtout, la sociologie politique de différents acteurs en vue de dépasser le sens commun et simplifié véhiculé par certains pour traduire la nature des conflits armés. Compte tenu de l’articulation entre le national, l’international et le transnational, ainsi que du lien entre les différents niveaux d’analyse, il s’avère impératif de se fixer des repères. Ethnic transnationalism, states and armed conflicts : socio-political approaches of warmongering in the Horn of Africa : 1961-2006

Résumé

Wars present a causal chain which introduces the question of the ethnicity and the formation of the State-nation. The conflicts in the Horn of Africa today are part of this register of the identity wars with international and transnational confrontations. Indeed, studying the phenomenon of contemporary African wars requires a historical, sociological and political analysis based on a multidisciplinary approach of polemology and a geopolitical culture which, at the same time, lead to the colonial and postcolonial African studies. It involves building a deepen reflection of the wars in the contemporary international system, while insisting on several units of analysis and, especially, the political sociology of various actors to overcome the common and simplified sense expressed by some conception to explain the nature of the wars which prevail in Horn of Africa. The interdependence between the national, the international and the transnational aspects proves the meaning to set reference marks. Our study focuses on the fundamentals aspects of the transnationalism approach, the theory of the ethnicity, the conflict studies and geopolitics.
