Résumé

Le témoin littéraire serait le nom d’un dispositif textuel quand il ne sacrifie pas l’injonction testimoniale. Comment, quand l’on est un écrivain algérien, signer une langue singulière, une expérience poétique de la langue, sans renoncer à attester d’événements-référents, à se porter garant d’une réalité extra-diégétique ? Le témoin littéraire Mohammed Dib témoigne en premier lieu par une mémoire des textes et forge depuis fabula un témoin d’artifice, succédant à l’âge d’or du témoignage. Le témoin littéraire serait cette aporie bien réelle, instituant un nouvel ordre du croire et demandant un lecteur responsable qui en réponde. Un témoin qui demande l’impossible. Qui depuis la blessure de l’événement apprivoise la catastrophe, lui donne formes, l’in-forme car il y va de la littérature en son serment à l’autre.

The literary witness would be the name of a textual device when it does not sacrifice the testimonial injunction. How, when one is an Algerian writer of French language, to sign a singular language, a poetic experiment of the language, without giving up attesting event-referents, standing as guarantor of a extradiegetic reality ? The literary witness Mohammed Dib testifies initially by a memory to the texts and forging will since confabulated a witness of artifice, succeeding the golden age of testimony. The literary witness would be this quite real aporia, instituting a new order of believing and asking for a responsible reader who answers about it. A witness who asks the impossible one.
