Résumé

Cet exposé propose l'étude de quelques problèmes fondamentaux de traduction des langues scandinaves en français : problèmes qui, pour la plupart, ont rarement été abordés par les études de traductologie en général, et ce quelle que soit la langue concernée. C'est le cas notamment du problème de la musicalité en matière de traduction : l'ensemble de l'exposé s'articule autour de cette idée, cherche à en démontrer la validité, et à en déceler les fondements à la lumière des plus récentes études en matière de phonologie. Outre ce problème, l'exposé s'attache également à examiner un aspect fondamental de la traduction qui est celui de la fidélité, prenant pour point de départ la traduction des langues scandinaves. L'exposé se nourrit de très nombreux exemples tirés de la prose littéraires scandinaves. L'objectif est d'apporter une contribution, à la réflexion sur les problèmes de traduction des langues scandinaves en particulier, et à la théorie de la traduction en générale.

Résumé

This work proposes the study of a few fundamental problems of translation of Scandinavian languages in French : problems which, for the majority of them, were seldom tackled by the studies of traductology in general, and this whatever the language concerned. This is the case in particular for the problem of the musical quality as regards translation; the whole study is focalised on this idea, seeks to show its validity, and detect its bases in the light of the most recent studies in the field of phonology. In addition to this, this work examines a fundamental aspect of the translation, which is that of fidelity, taking for starting point the translation of the Scandinavian literary prose. The goal is to contribute to the reflexion on the problems of translation of Scandinavian languages in particular, and to the translation theory in general.
