Résumé
L'architecture est grosse consommatrice d'images et de representation. Les nouvelles technologies, et notamment les images de synthese apportent-elles de nouveaux modes d'expression de cette representation, ou ne s'inscrivent-elles pas plutot dans la continuite des modes de representation existants ? une approche a la fois historique, technique et philosophique qui fait le point sur la specificite de l'architecture, et sur les nouveaux outils technologiques permet de definir la place de l'image informatique dans la representation du batiment et de l'architecture.

Architecture is a big consumer of pictures and representation. Do the new technologies, and in particular synthesis pictures bring a new method of representation, or do they inscribe themselves in the following of old manners ? an approach historical, technical and philosophical, who is setting the specificity of architecture and new technological instrument, and define the place of synthesis pictures in the representation of building in architecture.
