Résumé

La these devrait constituer un premier pas vers une comprehension approfondie de la variabilite spatio-temporelle des degats du gel printanier dans le vignoble champenois. Compte-tenu de la complexite de la topographie regionale, de l'extension assez importante du vignoble, ainsi que de l'heterogeneite sur le plan des sources d' information (ancien et nouveau reseau de stations meteorologiques, enquetes, campagnes de mesure sur le terrain), le sujet a ete etudie a deux echelles : a) regionale ou meso-climatique b) locale ou topo-climatique l'interaction du relief et de la circulation atmospherique generale s'est avere etre le facteur numero 1 determinant la geometrie des champs de temperatures minimales et de degats du gel.

Résumé

The aim of the pmd work is a deeper understanding of the spatio-temporal variability of frost damages in the champagne vineyard. Considering the complexity of the regional topography, the rather great extension of the vineyard and meterogeneity in the field of agroclimatic information (old and new network of meteorological stations, surveys, field works , the subject has been studied on two scales : a) regional or mesoclimatic b) local or topoclimatic the interaction topography - general circulation of the air was identified to be crucial for the geometry of frost damages and minimum temperatures fields.
