Résumé

Notre etude et recherche portera sur l'epigraphie, la transcription et la traduction de documents juifs marocains - manuscrits et impri- mes rares - datant du 18eme, du 19eme et du debut du 20eme siecle. L'examen de ces documents precieux, nous permettra de souligner tout d'abord l'existence d'une poesie elegiaque juive - hebraique et po- pulaire (en judeo-arabe) - ainsi que le role qu'elle a joue au sein des communautes juives maghrebines pendant les cinq derniers siecles. La recherche se propose de reconstituer les fondements de ce mode d'expression, de retrouver les sources et les references litteraires, de definir les themes et d'essayer de degager la valeur socio-cultu- relle et la portee historiographique. L'analyse se poursuivra au niveau des procedes et des techniques de composition. L'elegie juive marocaine puise des profondeurs du patrimoine culturel juif et elle en fait partie integrante tout en se declarant comme une suite et une continuite de la production poetique-elegiaque des grands maitres de l'age d'or espagnol. Il n'est que naturel que cette forme d'expression dans la pensee juive, sous son double aspect (hebraique et judeo-arabe), soit impregnee d'une certaine dose de la couleur locale. . .

Résumé

The research is based on inspection, rewriting, reconstruction and translation of old and rare prints as will and manuscripts of moroccan juws dating from the 18th century onward. During the process of introducing the material, the research will point out the existence of elegical poetry in the writing of moroccan jews in the last 500 years. Furthermore, this study will expose the basis and literary origins of jewish elegy in morocco will determine its themes, its socio-cultural significance along with its historical and geographical implicacation. In addition, the study will indicate the artistic means of its artful writing. This research aims to prove that this work draws from the jewish cultural heritage at large and is an integral part of it. It will especially exhibit that the jewish elegy in morocco is a direct descendant of the works of the spanish poets during the golden age. The jewish elegy in morocco stands out for its particular literary means that have derived from the unique period and place where it originated and evolued. It is this that constitutes its modest contribution to the cultural world both jewish and universal.
