Résumé
L'exportation exige la maîtrise des facteurs qualité-prix, indicateurs principaux de la maîtrise technologique. L'analyse des niveaux de maîtrise technologique dans le secteur mécanique, s'appuie sur le concept de système scientifique et technologique. Le faible lien entre l'infrastructure scientifique et le système productif ainsi que l'absence des avantages spécifiques pour les investissements technologiques ont fait que le système scientifique et technologique tunisien est peu structuré. Le faible niveau d'encadrement, et d'intégration font que le secteur mécanique opère à un niveau N2 de l'échelle de complexité technologique. L'étude de cas effectuée sur quarante entreprises révèle que six entreprises seulement ont développé des potentialités d'engineering. Ainsi le secteur mécanique maîtrise à peine la production et dans une moindre mesure la reproduction. Ces faiblesses, militent en faveur d'une stratégie répondant aux impératifs de compétitivité.

The export's strategy needs the use of both quality and price, as the main indicators of technology skills. The analysing of the technological level in the mechanical sector, is rooted in the concept of the scientific and technologic system. The weak relationship between scientific infrastructure and the productive system, in one hand the lack of specific and technologic system. The weak relationship between scientific infrasctructure and the productive system, in ona hand the lack of specific investment incentives in the other hand, are the most important reasons of the under structures Tunisian scientific system. Given the low level of technical staffing and integration, the mechanical sector operates at the N2 level of the complexity technological scale. The study case developped, has shown that among a sample of 40 mechanical enterprises only six have developped engineering capacities. Therefore the mechanical sector overcomes hardly production issues, serious shortcomings characterized also reproduction process.
