Résumé

Ce travail, base sur les theories linguistiques des grammairiens arabes tardifs, s'est propose de mettre au point un algorithme capable de generer de maniere automatique toute la morphologie verbale arabe a partir d'une racine donnee. L'algorithme demande a l'utilisateur de lui indiquer la base a laquelle la racine doit etre rattachee. Si la structure morphologique du verbe genere ne permet pas a l'algorithme de determiner la voyelle du verbe a l'inaccompli, celle-ci sera egalement demandee.

Generator-conjugator of the arab verbal morphology

Résumé

In this thesis, based on the linguistic theories by arab grammarians, we have developped an algorithm capable of generating all the paradigms of the verbal morphology of the written language from a verbal root, on a computer. The only human intervention consists in supplying a verbal root and indicating its base, and possibly the vowel of the verb, belonging to (cacaca) base, in the present tense if and only if the morphological structure of the generated verb does not allow the algorithm to determine its vowel automatically.
