Résumé

L'objectif fondamental du système expert Arfin (l'art de l'analyse financière), qui se présente comme un complément de la comptabilité budgétaire ou contrôle budgétaire permanent, est de mettre a la disposition du chef d'entreprise, en permanence, un diagnostic financier qui dicte les points dangereux a surveiller et a corriger dans les plus bref délais, ainsi que les points forts sur lesquels il peut s'appuyer pour préparer des plans d'actions (stratégie) efficaces. Arfin apporte plus qu'une technique; il donne aussi une manière d'agir dans l'entreprise pour devenir performante.

An application of the expert systems methodology to the financial diagnosis of dairy farming entreprises

Résumé

The principal objective of the Arfin expert system (the art of financial analysis), which complements the permanent budgetary control, is to place a financial diagnosis of the entreprise at the disposal of the manager at all times. This financial diagnosis reveals on the one hand the dangerous points which must be carefully looked after and corrected in the shortest possible time and on the other the strong points the manager can rely on to work out efficient strategies. Arfin is much more than a mere technique as it teaches a new method of analysis which enables the manager to make his entreprise more profitable
