Comment le retour aux sources peut-il devenir source de rationalite et d'harmonie a l'interieur de l'entreprise socialiste algerienne (esa) ? pourquoi les managers algeriens se contentent-ils d'imiter et d'adopter des modeles des republiques de democraties populaires et meme occidentaux d'organisation economique, sociale et culturelle ? ces modeles s'averent souvent contradictoires lors de leur confrontation avec la realite locale. A partir de quelle base peut-on emprunter un modele etranger sans courir le risque d'y succomber ? c'est afin de repondre a ces questions que fut menee notre analyse sur l'esa, d'abord sous le systeme de l'autogestion et ensuite sous le systeme de la gestion socialiste. Certes, les theories de l'organisation et les resultats des recherches dans ce domaine auraient pu etre un cadre riche de references pour les managers algeriens; mais on constate qu'ils occultent categoriquement le probleme des conditions d'application desdites theories. Or, l'esa et par la ses acteurs ne sont pas encore prepares a adopter tel ou tel modele. C'est justement sur ces conditions prealables a toute tentative d'organisation qu'on s'est attarde; d'ou la necessaire reference a la dimension ideologique et culturelle (dic). On comprend alors qu'avant d'adopter un modele etranger il faut au prealable posseder une base de reference qui admette ou qui rejette ce modele. Cette base de reference est representee par ce qu'on a appele la dic. On note enfin que notre etude ne s'inscrit pas dans le cadre de comptes rendus, encore une fois et apres tant d'autres, des theories de l'organisation deja largement etudiees mais dans le but de comprendre ou de tenter de comprendre le "phenomene" de l'esa et ses problemes en meme temps que les mutations successives de son environnement. Recourir au passe pour comprendre le present, tel fut le motif principal de notre demarche.
Outline of an ideological and cultural dimension for the socialist enterprise in algeria. Analysis of the society on the basis of the investigation of a return to the sources and its effects upon the economic and social rationality of man
How can the return to the sources become the source of rationality and harmony inside the algerian socialist enterprise (ase) ? why are the algerian managers satisfied with imitating and adopting socialist and even western models of economic, social and cultural organization ? these models prove themselves to be contradictory when confronted with the local reality. On what sort of basis is it possible to borrow a foreign model without running the risk of giving oneself up to it ? it is in order to reply to these questions that our analysis of the ase was led, first under the system of self-management and then under the system of socialist management. Certainly, the theories of organization ant the research results in this domain could have been a rich framework of references for the algerian managers. However, we observe that they conceal downright the problem of conditions of application of the above-mentioned theories. Now ase and thereby its actors are not yet prepared to adopt a specific model. It is upon these conditions prior to any attempt at organization that we have dwelt : hence the necessary reference to the ideological and cultural dimension (icd). We observe thus that before adopting a foreign model, we must first possess a basis of reference that accepts or rejects this model. This basis of reference is represented by what we have called the icd. We notice finally that our study does not enter into the framework of reviews, once more and after so many others, of theories of organization already widely studied but with the aim of comprehending or trying to comprehend the "phenomenon" of the ase and its problems at the same time as the successive mutations of its environment. Return to the past to understand the present, such was the main motive for our approach.
