This work aims at relating the phenomenon of the spanish muslims'love discourse in the caliphate cordova, then fully disrupted. After the bibliographical and chronological data that build the first part of the work, i find it necessary to recount the main facts of al-andalus's history until the second half of the eleventh century, particulary through its significant factors which best enable to; understand this history, the very psychological, socio-cultural and religious backgrounds in which andalusian people were then struggling. Therefore, the subject of the andalusian woman, her intrigues or her love affairs within the intricate machinery of a politically divided society is largely developped. As ibn hazm was himself a protagonist during the fitna, his biography seemed absolutely essential to understand the political and religious facts of his time, as well as his zahirite profile, expressed in his love treatise, tawq al-hamama. A short account on the textual or paleographic type of this mutilated document has been established in the second part of the work in order to stree its historical value. After a brief eschatological and scholastic essay on love, ibn hazm works on the same methodological paths as ibn dawud did -the oriental theorist of love who has been influenced by greek platonism- as he reveals the essence, laws, disasters and apex of love. He originates his work from his own experience with the jawari or "free" women, and from that of other andalusians in order to emphasize the ardour of passion.
